I'm sure many of us are missing the good old days before the introduction of breathalyser checks by the Hong Kong police. I think the Aero Club would have gone out of business very rapidly! No Cathay aircraft ever suffered an accident due to impaired handling skills due to alcohol. There are strict rules in place, restricting alcohol consumption prior to reporting for flying duties.
