Flying as I do a 4-jet which doesn't (yet) have TCAS fitted - we operate under 'state exemption', unfortunately - we have an SOP to reduce climb/descent rate to 500 - 1500 ft/min before reaching 1000ft of any cleared level in RVSM airspace.
