more looses for PAL to come (LT destroyed PAL)

The Airphil transfer is one of plan of PNB building people as mentioned. but it might not work. CebuPAC is established as the low cost carrier of Philippines. It is difficult to get market share from CebuPac at this point of economic recession.
PAL earn bulk of revenue from USA flights. economic recession in the USA forced many Pinoy not to travel. Worse that some of them are straggling with their mortgage many cannot travel for fear of loosing their job to another worker.
There are 11 million filipinos worldwide, only 3.1 million in the US. LT put all eggs in one basket in concentrating on US flights because this is established market. As long as US recession happening, PAL revenue will not improve.
LT did not want to invest in market studies & want to be sigurista. This is reason why CebuPac is difficult competitor. CebuPac's business model is born of expensive market study, unique & first in Philippines. This Airphil transfer is very poor business strategy & only copycat of CebuPac model.

What about widebody operations? PNB people also have plan like 777 EVA wet lease offer based in Sanfo but no takers from other businessman abroad. Bulk of PAL looses coming from widebody international operations. So this will show how poor LT business planning with Airphil transfer plan.

Meanwhile what has LT done with legacy carrier PAL (Asia's first)? LT has spin off everything. you think PAL is loosing money but LT earned millions from a/c financing deals carried by his holding companies, loans from his bank, rent from his buildings, etc. He said that he will overhaul business plan when he bought PAL to reverse it to profitability. What he has done is cut labor cost therefore cause lots of suffering with staff but still airline is loosing money. LT is complete failure with PAL but his companies earn millions. Now he is planning his exit by way of PALEA action. there are 4 factions in PALEA & any 1 can be his pakawala.
Grapevine in chinese business community say PAL books not even open to prospect buyers. LT thinks that PAL brandname will sell by itself. Take it or leave it. No wise businessman want his trash.
