Right - this is a major bug bear of mine. Warwickshire
County Council have little, if anything to do with the problems which face(d) CVT. Warwick
District Council, on the other hand, do.
WDC are the planning authority for CVT; and it was they who spent considerable sums of tax payers money on the various planning inquests & hearings.
WCC are the unitary authority for Warwickshire; and have responsibility for highways, fire & rescue, schools, trading standards etc. I am not sure if they cover the roads around and/or fire & rescue for CVT or whether this is covered by West Mids Fire & Coventry City Council / Highways Agency (A45 is a trunk road). However, it was not them who have previously made CVT's life quite hard.
They are two very very different organisations - at least one of them is competent, reasonable and understands the level of their own importance.
