Aye they might be right about the requirement for landings especially if it has been a while since you flew it , but I would be interested in hearing how they are planning it and how they came up with that price?
For comparison 6 landings in a B737NG is around 5500 Euro and 7500 on an Airbus A320 from what I hear. I can't see how 9000 Euros for three landings in a Dash 8 is a fair price.
