To Shanx and the rest of the guys,

How is it that KF is advertising for expact FOs? I thought by June 2010, all the expacts including captains are to leave?

I did my Indian medical with AFCME in 2007. I thought the medical standards were not that different to CASA or CAA NZ medical standards. Just the usual stuff - sight, hearing, EEG, ECG, Blood and urine test and general physical exam.

I guess that July 2010 deadline has already been extended, but don't have any authoritative information on that.

Medical standards followed in India are as laid down by ICAO, but most of the Indian pilots doubt the zeal by which the Air Force Medicine personnel implement these standards. The pilot community doubts that they are being subjected to much higher non-documented standards. Which to me at least seems to be the case.
