When the 2009 ANO is enacted, there will be no requirment for a licensed airfield (Article 126) when conducting flying training. It will still remain a requirment for public transport flights.
The day this happens the flying clubs can re-open for training.
Strongly stated, G-RICH, but unfortunately incorrect. The 2009 ANO has already been enacted, and it retains the requirement (now incorporated in Articles 207 and 208) to use a licensed airfield when conducting flying training towards the grant of a licence, rating, etc.
