Unfortunately, unless you base investment decisions purely on our US lead, then I'd prefer to base my research and time on Australian soil (and whats in it). The senior looking gentlemen staring through a telescope across the desert is reassuring however - perhaps he is looking to Australia and this thread.
Here is a few loosely demographic truths about Australia (this thread is in the DG&P right?)
- Significant populations increase and long term trend (births and immigration). More people, more housing, food and services required.
- Resource rich soil.
