Unfortunately the airport is on a huge downhill siding scale, and its operations will have to start very small, and gradually build up to what it had in the
1990s, well before Thomsonfly set up business. Then the new operator may consider expansion, but unfortunately what airport would an airline choose? Birmingham or Coventry?
They need to plan carefully to which direction they want to take the airport, they need some income pretty fast to pay the bills but cant expect big things for quite some time yet.
