A fair point, but the AL website will still only permits you to book into one of three US destinations (out of Cork). Where the hell do all the other connections disappear to? It's beyond farcical. With the history of Transatlantic air travel from this country coupled with the preclearance facilities at our disposal, there is simply no reason why anyone should have to fly East to then fly further West to get to the US. Of course once you put AL and DAA into the mix then logic goes quickly out the window.
