Not sure on the designation, but is this the Pemberton-Billing "Slip Wing" project for a long range bomber?
It is and like everybody else I am confused by what, if any was its correct designation. Sort of a Maia/Mercury composite in reverse with the top bit helping the bottom bit get off the ground, rather than vice versa.
