Now that Gatwick has gone public about their desire to lure Ryanair from Stansted, the only two influential airlines that are addicted to Essex International are easyJet, with their new found liking for the place and Air Berlin.
Blue Air are moving westward from the end of March, so where does that leave the second runway and completion for the Olympics.......in BAA tatters!
The closest thing to a new runway in the south east is going to be at London Stobart.
Finally the passengers at Gatwick are not subsidising Stansted and look what happens!
Has Stansted actually ever made the BAA any 'real' profit? Seriously, take cross subsidisation away, Stansted is a White Elephant!
Mind you, no doubt after the Olympics, Luton will be searching for a new concessionaire!
