Thistle on the airport for £37 crew rate includes breakfast, parking and internet apparently. You may need EMA ID which you'll get 1st or 2nd day on the course. Give the hotel a call. Also try the travelodge at the m1 services by the airport. I've stayed there several times and it's always been cheap (£12 plus), clean, quiet and convenient. Heard The Otter at Kegworth is ok but don't know rates, but it's also nice for a pint and a meal.
