Wasn't WX a major factor in the Faro DC-10 and CLK MD-11 accidents? (Windshear and TS?)
It contributed to the accident. With Faro it was among using the auto trotlle instead of manual and disconecting the AP on a very low alt. in bad weather. They also were GO minded because a 767 of the same company landed just before them.
