tacpot rubbish - they're lucky to have us! "they" don't "let" us hang out here - PPRUNE is succesful through the input and involvement of us all involved in aviation, IMHO. Besides, its not just this thread that has "non-professional" pilots - look at
Dunnunda & Godzone and the other regional forums, for example, and ATC etc.
If it generates more page views - and therefore more advertising revenue (which may not be much, but still), then its better for PPRUNE as a whole.
But I don't care that much - it was just an idle thought...
