Guess the whole shabang comes down to the terms of ADP's deal - if the lease term is long, the terms unconstraining and the cost £1 to take the problem off CCC's hands, they might make a living. the lease/rent has to be a peppercorn deal - otherwise it's pointless.
There's definately some contaminated land somewhere on that plot - anyone remember which bit? That area will probably not be economically viable to dig up to turn ino big sheds for aircraft (or anything else for that matter).
You'll probaly get things up and running as a Cat 1 or Cat 2 aerodrome with basic ATC service within a couple of months but it will take much longer to get higher Cat RFF and the sort of service required for anything other than light GA. The CAA will scrutinise everything with much greater rigour than they would have done as a going concern.
Presumably Marshall would strep back in and re-start all that side of things?
