RMK SC2SC1CI1 SH W-N-E QUADS CU ASOCTD SLP988=

As far as I know it means this:

SC2SC1CI1 = 2 octas of Stratocumulus (the Few at 2000ft), 1 octa of Stratocumulus (the Scattered at 3800ft) and 1 octa of Cirrus (the Broken at 26000ft). OK, I realise that the octas don't correspond with the descriptors but it is Newfoundland after all!

SH W-N-E QUADS = Showers in the West, North and east quadrants with...

CU ASOCTD = Associated Cumulus.

SLP988 = Sea Level Pressure 998.8hPa (which is 29.47in Hg)

Hope this helps!
