Oh, and @ Lightbulbs ... as an 'outsider' I am using generic terms. It is not for me to allocate responsibility to individuals other than Ms Malone, who has placed herself in the spotlight.
I have no doubt there are many BASSA members who view this slo-mo train crash with great apprehension. Some are undoubtedly supporters of the position taken by the Union, others are not. I would not tar all with the same brush.
However, the 'conflict' is between BASSA and BA; I accept that Unite has a part to play, but it's basically BASSA v. BA.
So who is BASSA? I suggest Ms Malone and her [what's the correct term? Committee?].
