Balanced field/Balanced V1
Hi guys,
I've got my Performance ATPL exam next week; i've came accross a few questions which refer to a 'balanced field' and 'balanced v1', however the answers are rather vague and the notes (from Bristol g.s) are about as clear as mud on the subject.
I know that in a balanced field situation TODA=ASDA; however i have no idea what the advantages are over a normal situation and what the differences are.
Any help would be appreciated; preferibly using a simple terminology!
