Gallet Flight Helmets - Ordering Direct
Just wondering if anyone has any experience ordering a flight helmet directly from Gallet. In particular, I'm wondering about the comms packages available.
They offer what appears to be a "Civilian High Impedance Comms Pkg" (Part No. GA76131). Has anyone had any compatibility problems with helicopters in the civilian world with this configuration?
Also the comms packages offered by North American retailers (Merit, Aviation Survival etc.) come in at anywhere between $200-300 whereas Gallet are charging almost 500euro for theirs. Can anyone explain the difference in the cost?
Any other information on what to look for would be greatly appreciated.
