The fact remains that there is a demand for domestic routes from BOH, all the Airline ( who ? I don't know ) has to do, is compete with FlyBe and use a similar sized A/C. B738 is too big !
Bournemouth will need some domestic routes to make good use of the terminal they have built.
Ryanair now seem to be concentrating on popular Holiday routes, already served by Thomson & Palmair ! I wonder Why

I agree with Nakata77 why not use the Palmair A/C or a Jet2, if the deal with Astraeus is just for flying time, it's not much good for them, an aircraft needs to be Flying as much as possible.
As they say, if you can start something in the recession that works, you will reap the rewards when things are on the up, don't forget the Olympics are not far off, money to be made then !
