20 years to command is not that bad if you start at age 23-28 , you spend the majority of that time as an f/o earning more than a jetstar captain , then you get a huge payrise to earn more than almost any other pilot on the planet.
Financially the QF Pilot will always be the richest guy in the cemetary, and he will not reach the cemetary till after his equivalent aged overworked Jetstar buddy.
