Buggers got WCC for a low price.
About 50k cheaper than a 180 at the time.)
They flew it for awhile as a 182 on jump ship duties.
When the time came, they had the parts ready to go for the conversion, and they did most of it themselves.
I think it has an io-550 in it as well. Climbs like mad.
I think it only weighed about 740 kg or something like that.
It also has hydraulic under wing spoilers attache to the rear spar
for descent.
