One of the major problems with the MPL was that the course was produced with no syllabus, consequently some of the first courses were non standard. The Core course is supposed to be 70 hours in a SE aeroplane so the holder should at least qualify for a PPL before moving to the basic stage in a FNPTII.

Yo can see why many of the existing FTOs have no interest in it.
