You are right. I was in the 'local' at lunchtime having an orange juice (as I was flying this afternoon) and a couple of guys were discussing security arrangements. Apparently the Pope has asked to sample local local produce and the Oak was suggested and being close enough for a quick escape should any trouble flare up.
There is also talk of PA474 Lancaster doing a flypast to remind him of what he missed a few years ago!
Anybody know if the Lanc would have to pay a 'Go Around' fee or would the council do that FOC ?
