QNH readback...mmmm!!
Well, I reckon the court is still trully out on this one. No where else on the planet, as far as I know, do you have to read the QNH back. Acknowledging the ATIS code, alpha or zulu is suffice in saying, "yep, got the whole 9 yards, r/w, wind, weather and pressure with temp". Agreed, in flight from FL to altitude, its a mandate but the starting point is surely the response to the WHOLE acknowledgement of the relevant ATIS.???
