Happy Wanderer - the positive side to your post is that there are still meetings taking place, it had seemed to have gone very quiet!!
The fact that they may be property developers is not the end of the world, both TBI and Peel are property developers with airport interests and it may mean that the Swiss have the money to invest in infrastructure such as new hangarage etc.
Going back to Pharmer's post on Page 73:
CVT's role will essentially BA/GA and ad-hoc/specialised freight. They are well connected globally and are able to bring, inter alia, substantial MRO operations to CVT.
That doesn't sound like the plan is to make it a housing estate but only time will tell!
I do think we are approaching crunch time, neither the receivers or airport operators will wait forever and the latter need news ASAP.
