........I'm a skipper and I've just volunteered for CC training ........
Lordy me ! how times have changed? I was a skipper and I was lucky if I had enough time at home to change my underwear, meet the kids, cut the grass, kick the dog and then off again for another week, I certainly didn't have time to moonlight as C.C. One starts to think of under-utilisation, over-pay etc ??

Still, I applaud the sentiment and would be tempted myself - anything to justifiably pack a suitcase and disappear for a few days ! - but as remarked by an acqaintance on another Forum, too old, too short, and now a Criminal Record Check as well !! Not a hope. That speeding fine in 1952 will brand me as an arch-terrorist suspect.

Very sad times, and I nervously look at my pension, too.

Just read todays' news about JAL. Don't think it can't happen to B.A.

Best of luck.
