Well, there are some airlines which have "swimming" as one of their "requirements", but usually its not a primary requirement, coz they probably teach you to float and swim freestyle at least during training. Its always an advantage to know swimming, as some airlines have made that mandatory. You can always learn how to swim in a couple of weeks anyway, so no need to fret dear..!
