Possibly, though the bigger concern I have when I see cadets or FO's who have been cadets, and many FO's from all over the place for that matter, is that they often don't actually appreciate the drift they have when the drift angle is relatively small, hence they do nothing about it.
A nice big stiff crosswind gets more notice.
