The latest news is, the security manager at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, who gave the interview on which the earlier news is based, now denies having said that profiling would be based on religion, ethnic origin or nationality. Instead, he now says, "behavior at the airport" would be what decides which passengers will be taken aside to be screened and/or searched. Obviously he touched a nerve somewhere.
