I agree.
If there was an interested party it would have come to light long ago. I doubt there is a buyer with deep enough pockets or a bank willing to take a chance with it in the current financial situation.
Seems to me that the various parties who have owned it / run it (inc Thompson Fly) over the past few years may have discovered how complex and costly it can be to run even a basic functional airport. And how risky it is to rely on the low cost end of the market, who will promise the earth and then drop you, and their PAX, like a hot plate!
