Well if you don't like it, perhaps a career change is in order.

Passport photo, no stupid crap of you with a headset and three bars doing an epic cockpit lookback. There IS a facebook group dedicated to those. I may or may not have contributed

Don't just drop in, ring (I always have), to see if you can make an appointment or just a time when you can have a quick chin wag with the CP. And for God's sake dress up. Even if it's 40 degrees, wear a tie. First Impressions and all that.

If they don't want to meet you (Probably cos they have enough pilots for the time being), thank them for their time and keep trying. Personally I would Print and mail or deliver a Resume over email, as it takes more of an effort to open and then throw out a resume vs deleting it from the inbox.

And sorry if it was intended as a joke SK and soseg.
