Most of the subverting of the UK Military Airworthiness Regulations over the last three decades would appear to have been organised and assured not by "politicians and civil serpents" but by senior Royal Air Force Officers. If the CAS is set on ensuring that such men are brought to book then he will have my best wishes, but I'll believe it when I see it, I'm afraid. If you or I had set about subverting the operational effectiveness of the Squadrons on which we served we would rightly have expected to face Courts Martial. What is different here?
