If you can't find the reference about being endorsed on a metro it makes me wonder whether you should be operating that class of aeroplane?
As tmpffisch says CAR 5.106 states you can't fly it unless you're endorsed on it and CAO 40.1.0 Appendix 1A Part 3 details the Metro as a specific class endorsement.
