It is very difficult for a former legacy carrier to grow organically. They are at a significant disadvantage carrying the financial burden of being a former legacy carrier. EI has been static for years. How can the airline have an independent future if it cannot grow organically. There was a great opportunity to move the airline forward when WW was in charge but the Government got in the way. This is a complete disaster.
