CASA says EASA will come in next November. So less than 1 year away now. However, I was told, and please correct me if I'm wrong, that the airlines and maintenance companies will have 6 years before they have to switch over to EASA. Also CASA will still be going on for 4 or 5 years. And if you get your CASA license, when EASA comes in, you can swap it. It's all very confusing as I am spending lots of money and effort to get thru the CASA exams in the hopes that I am not wasting my time and money.
