Flight Bag
I have got one of those horrible sythetic flight bags, but I tend to use my Samsonite rucksack which is quite big, with lots of pockets to put stuff in. When I use my real flight bag, due to its lack of pockets/divisions, everything just gets chucked in and by the time I have found that one permanent marker that works my flying slot is over.
Here's my list:
Jeppesen folding kneeboard
Casio calculator with time calculation function (v. useful!)
2 Virgin Atl. sick bags, 1 British world airlines sick bag and 1 BA sick bag.
a free penlight torch from Farnborough 2000
PPL
coupl'a spare pens
highligher to highlight those sections of the plogs I ALWAYS forget to fill in!
Headset
Fuel tester
PA28 Warrior Cheklist
South England half-mil chart
Handy-size Transair ruler and Asco protractor
Pooleys whizzwheel
AFE VFR guide 2001 with hand-written 2002 amendments (saves £20!)
And thats about it. Apart from the tag that was attached to the bag when I first bought it that I have never thrown away.
