Absolute and complete rubbish.
I paxed back home on Royal Jordanian to ORD yestersay, and the airshow was in full operation...for the entire flight.
ALL foreign airlines operating scheduled services to the USA
must be certificated in accordance with 14CFR129, which provide for specific regulation for said foreign air carriers for continued ops.
IF the FAA said 'off with the map', the map goes OFF, and there is nothing the airline can do about it, if they want to continue ops to the USA.
Don't like it...fly somewhere else..
