Revalidation typing correction

Sorry about the mis-typing in my last post. The line in the asterisked paragraph should read '.... within 3 months of the expiry date'.

Another point that needs clarification, for it causes some confusion, is that the rating period will run from the date of test! The JAR licence period (5 years) runs from the actual date of issue of the licence.

Example;

You pass your SEPL skill test on the 2nd March 2009.
The Pilots licence is subsequently issued on the 2 April 2009.

Your SEPL rating must be revalidated by at the latest 1st March 2011 if it is not to expire.
The Pilots Licence will expire on the 1st April 2014.

So knowing all this read the exam question carefully. I hope that i've been of help.
