So it seems that maybe in the near future pilots in PNG may have to download "old" maps from the website at University of Texas (thanks for the link SIUYA, they are good), print them out and fly with them. Unfortunately there are some "white" areas on those maps, and some where no topograhical data was available. That mixed with the weather and visibility in the highlands....
