my old dog Sooty (a Poodle) ..

One would expect nothing less from a poodle of any sub-persuasion.

My silver Mini has a delightful habit of sitting between the seats, leaning against my shoulder ... and slowly falling asleep.

Often he manages to remain in place .. at other times the body follows the head's lead ... He has, on occasion, even managed to fall off the clipping table when he goes to sleep ... not uncommon at all to find me asleep on the bed and him asleep on/across my tummy .. and, given my particular tummy, that is not altogether an easy task.

mmm .. perhaps the Toys might not be as ideal as a Standard but, I guess, largely a matter of individual temperament and training.

I wouldn't dream of taking his replacement, a Dalmatian

A poodle fancier changing breeds ? ... heresy !!
