Routes and cheap fares tempt people, not stations or rail links. You might look for the airport/route first, then the fare and then work out how you're going to get there. Unless you live round the corner from the station, you still have to get there in the first place and how are you going to do that? Public transport, taxi ... maybe a mate if you're lucky, and then you have the hassle of getting back. Get a taxi and it'll like as not be door to door service, you pay for it but it is easily more convenient than lugging your cases on and off trains etc.
