Hi. I´m new to this thread, but have enjoyed reading a lot of the 120 pages. I was born and partly grew up in PNG and in that way also with aviation there. Lots of names and places came back to the old(er getting) brain.
I´m trying to retrace a flightpath. My father was taking part in a survey flight into the area of Mt. Michael, Agotu and further on into the Gimi and along a part of the Purari River in 1959. Are there any good maps of PNG available somewhere. I have seen some, which seem to have been made by the Australian Army. I would apreciate any comments.
