Agree that more could be done to exploit BOH's potential especially when silly timings and silly days of departure are the only offerings on certain routes. Is it any wonder the routes don't take off!?
But as for the comments regarding the terminal. Isn't it funny how British opinions are. A few months ago before all this development work was taking place people were moaning the only reason the airport wasn't taking off was because it had a garden shed for a terminal. Now the comments have come ful circle and its about what a waste of money its all been as no new operators have come along. ITS BEEN A FEW MONTHS PEOPLE, HELLO!?
Give it time! Operators don't come to an airport because it has a lovely terminal. But a decent efficient terminal which BOH will soon have will certainly assist in attracting more serious attention than it could ever have done before with the terrible limited temporary structure it was. The region of BOH deserves this - it has the largest conurbation in the southwest after Bristol. The airport should be handling at least 2.5m today so the catch up will be quick when it does occur and this new terminal will assist that.
