You may well find that, like my Palm Vx, the charger has is capable of working across a large voltage range and may also be supplied with multiple plug types. Because they tend to be used by young, upwardly-mobile and geographically mobile people that makes sense.
Go for the software you like, then buy the PDA to match - not the other way round.
