If you flew XX549 in the past, you might like to know that she is still going strong and retains the UAS colours. Current FI is 104 and given that we are not wringing the ultimate G's out of her, she is good for around another 20 years of use before the mainspar mod is due at FI 114. Bulldogs are not the cheapest aircraft in terms of maintenance costs and fuel burn, but they are great to fly throughout the flight envelope, be it cross country or aerobatics. This summer we have been welcomed back to Lynham, Benson and Yeovilton and she has stirred a few memories for many of you, while she was there. Civvy reg is G-CBID, based at EGLM (White Waltham).
