@ Optimus Prime and Fixed Reserve,

I agree it is not exactly a Sweet Deal. But atleast it is Guaranteed that you will be flying an Airplane / Helicopter.

If spending 20 - 30 Lacs in Typerating + Bribing your way into the Airline is your Idea of sweet deal, then I will not argue.

But I will mention that the Airlines do not even talk to you after you pay the 25 + Lacs.

Current Example - Kingfisher Airlines, which has 100 + Type rated ATR and Airbus Pilots grounded. And many out of them have paid for the type rating themselves.

Also not to forget that Paramount Airways has 15 Trainees who have Paid around 25 Lacs more than a Year back and not even type rated yet.

But wait, Paramount has just One airplane left. (Todays News that DGCA has banned Paramount from flying 3 of its Airplanes for which it has not paid the Lease for some time not and the Leasing Company went to Court 2 months Back).

So No offense. Please take your Pick.

Silent.
