I don't want to be the one who gets shot down for bing a pessimist here, but....
The lack of funding will not have come as a surprise to Jetbird, they will have been tryin to raise investment capital for months. Originally claiming to have raised €100,000,000, it is obvious that investors are pulling out.
If €5 or 6 or 10 million is needed to take delivery of 5 aircraft, imagine the gargantuan job of raising enough capital to take delivery of the other 94.
I think it is a massive ask that they get over this hurdle and take delivery of 5 aircraft, but to continue down the track of 50+ new deliveries, about as much chance as Pompey winning the Premier League this season.
Be realistic guys, this one has next to no chance of happening at all.
