All very carefully planned, meeting after meeting weeks in advance.
If you think James is a scruffy bugger on TV, you should see him at 0530am! Worzel Gummage has nothing on him.

A great deal of organisation went into it and I believe that the Top Gear production company paid a hefty price for the privilage of filming with us.

It was all very professionally executed and they were a pleasure to work with, the whole morning was great fun, it's just a shame that they couldn't show more of what actually happened.

The Airship started and finished it's flight at Norwich, the R/T was for real albeit done on a discreet frequency - no voice overs!

The Stratton Strawless filming took place after they'd deflated the airship, gone by road and reinflated it there, some clever aerial shots made it appear that the airship flew over and near to the caravan site but in fact it wasn't anywhere near it.
Mr May was at the controls at all time - sort of .

A great day.
